Privacy Policy

We, the New International team, take privacy seriously. We are not in the business of selling your information to third parties or otherwise infringing your privacy. We collect user information for three main purposes:

  1. Allowing users to manage their accounts and preferences.
  2. Allowing our team to send users new articles and updates by email.
  3. Allowing our team to collect basic analytics about our performance.

Points 1 & 2 should be obvious: if you provide us your email address, you agree to let us send you email. If you create a user account with us, you agree to allow us to maintain that account unless and until you request that it is deleted. We reserve the right to refuse, deny, delete, etc., user accounts in the name of protecting the security and well-being of our project.

Point 3 requires some explanation: we use the Ghost publishing platform which provides its own native analytics suite. This allows us to track how many times our email newsletters have been opened. We also use Plausible for the website itself: how many times each article has been viewed, where readers are finding our content, etc. We do not use Google Analytics or other invasive tools like cookies or device fingerprinting. By visiting this site and/or creating an account with us, you agree to allow us to collect this information.

If you have specific questions or concerns about your account or this privacy policy, you can contact us.
